A strategic outpost since fur- trading days, Kingston lies at the junction of Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River. Massive Fort Henry presides on a hilltop above the city, overlooking the lake and up the river toward the 1000 Islands. Costumed interpreters explain early-19th- century military life. Ten minutes from the campground, tour boats leave regularly to cruise the islands. Its all within easy reach of this KOA, where a sundeck and pool, 18-hole mini golf course and other attractions encourage lazy hours among its treed grounds --- except when "Yee-Ha" wagon rides, ice cream socials, karaoke and other events take over, in the season. Visit our doggy playground that everybody is raving about, you and your pet are sure to enjoy it.
