Forfar Recreation Park is a campground or RV park located in Athabasca.

According to local residents, the name "Forfar" was given to the school district in the early 1900s. Forfar Community Club was established several years later and although the school is long gone, the name Forfar remains tied to the district. Forfar Park is a popular camping spot for local and out of town campers. The park offers great camping sites and 2 wonderful beach areas and a boat launch. With 48 sites, it features 10 tent sites, group sites, pump water, a public phone, beach and water skiing pier.
